As a student with a business to run, I can say that both my studies and entrepreneurship need to seamlessly work together. There is a particular set of books that I have come across that have helped me a lot when it comes to my attitude towards money, risk, and business vision. A book that I want to highlight is “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. This book opened my eyes completely towards different facets of life, such as education and wealth. It helped me understand that education is just a fraction of what I need in order to be financially free. The way Kiyosaki compared his two “dads” one who worked all his life and the other who built wealth through business really changed the way I think of money. This is a massive shift I underwent that helped me transform into a business owner rather than just a worker. That mindset shift is what really helped me in believing that I should be taking my business more seriously and making better decisions. For all the students dreaming to live a life beyond a 9 to 5, this book is essential. It’s not just about money it’s about the mindset you need to create real value in the world.
